Registered Nurse – Night Duty

 Successful candidates will have:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse working in Aged Care in Australia
  • Knowledge of the aged care industry, regulations and funding
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and professionally
  • Empathy towards the needs of aged residents is essential along with your passion for delivering high quality care
  • Italian speaking will be highly regarded

CHEF

We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Chef with previous relevant experience to assist the Chef Manager.

About the role:-
We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our team, with successful applications being able to work across a range of shifts..

You will:-

  • Have a genuine passion for aged care and ideally demonstrate knowledge in the complex care needs of the older person
  • Previous experience in Aged Care and Hotel
  • Work independently with limited supervision and have the ability to supervise and lead a team
  • Prepare food as per set menu
  • Have excellent communication skills to work as part of a team
  • Ensure food and kitchen hygiene, safety practices and that cleaning schedules are compliant with the Food Safety Legislation
  • Assist in ordering and budget control within the department as required
  • Knowledge of Aged Care legislation and aged care accreditation standards
  • Understanding of continuous improvement practices
  • Current Driver’s licence
  • Current Police check

Pastoral Care Coordinator – Assisi Aged Care, Rosanna

 The Role:

  • Responsible for providing optimal religious and spiritual services to residents, families, staff and volunteers.
  • The Pastoral Care Coordinator works collaboratively as part of the Assisi Aged Care staff in the provision of excellent high quality resident care

We are seeking a collaborative and supportive Pastoral Care Coordinator:- The successful applicant will:-

  • Speak fluent Italian with the ability to translate
  • Have an active faith commitment with relevant qualifications in Theology and Pastoral Counselling
  • Have previous experience in healthcare / aged care chaplaincy or pastoral ministry
  • Has the ability to develop strong collaborative working relationships with staff and volunteers involved in the care of individuals while providing support for family members, staff and volunteers
  • Provide bereavement support to residents, families, staff and volunteers
  • Sound leadership and effective communication skills
  • Ensure a team approach to pastoral and spiritual care
  • Support and assist new residents with transitional care
  • Coordinate and facilitate spiritual and religious services
  • Have a current Police Check

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care
  • At least 18 monthsprevious Aged Care experience working as a PCA in a Residential Facility (not including student placement hours)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the passion for working in Aged Care with the ability to perform all duties consistent with the Vision, Mission and Values of the organisation
  • Experience in ACFI and knowledge of accreditation standards
  • Current Police Certificate
  • Italian speaking will be highly regarded*
