Speaking Italian language

106-assisi

Our organization operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week with the help of approximately 150 staff members (nurses, care workers, administration staff and management) over 3-4 shifts a day.

We try to have as many Italian speaking staff as possible, as well as people who can communicate, understand and encourage Italian culture. We take every care to ensure we can communicate with residents and families as much as possible; having a bilingual team provides obviously better service and makes residents feel more at home.

However It is not possible for all staff to speak Italian but we have courses for our staff to help them communicate in the workplace as well as possible for the care needs of our residents.

The ability to communicate in Italian is one of the highest job selection criteria for staff recruitment.
