It was a joy to be able to return to the Sandbar Café in Middle Park for afternoon tea, on a recent bus trip.

While we’re currently in the depths of Winter, this seems to not be a deterrent for some of Assisi’s more adventurous residents.
However, we were lucky that on this outing, the weather was particularly mild.

Residents revelled in taking in some restorative deep breaths of the fresh sea air, during a walk along Middle Park Beach.
We shall return, perhaps during the warmer months.
