Fathers’ Day at Assisi was celebrated on Friday 1^st September.
The afternoon began with entertainment by Tony from ‘Music of Joy’.
Tony engaged the residents with his traditional Italian songs, some residents also getting up and having a dance or two.
All enjoyed a selection of delicious afternoon tea, lovingly prepared by Chef Robert and his staff.

The auditorium underwent an amazing transformation, looking spectacular for this special occasion.
We are grateful to Tina and the Lifestyle Team for their dedication to making the event a memorable one.

The afternoon culminated with fathers(and all male residents) receiving a gift, which included a beret cap and pair of socks each.
Some were so overwhelmed with their gifts that they couldn’t wait to don their new fashion item.

It was so lovely to watch male residents engaging and socialising with each other, over a beer or wine.

We hope it was a memorable occasion for all the dads at Assisi.
