As the trees and decorations are safely packed away for another year and the tinsel on the shop shelves makes way for the onslaught of hot cross buns, we welcome this quieter time of the year after the breakneck speed of December.

Residents have settled back into a calmer schedule.

A spectacular Christmas luncheon prepared by Andrew and his staff was enjoyed by residents.

The amount of planning, organising and dedication of staff to ensure that such events run smoothly is sometimes overlooked. It was fantastic to see the team work between Lifestyle, Catering and Care staff all with a common goal: to ensure residents enjoyed the day.

As anticipated, Santa and Mrs Claus dropped in with a HoHoHo and to wish everyone ‘un Buon Natale’!

No Italian Christmas is complete without a visit from the Befana. We flew her in directly from Italy… a little jet-lagged but full of spirit! We hope you’ve been good all year or you’ll find coal in your stocking!!
