Last week our resident cineastes assembled amid the art-deco splendour of The Balwyn Cinema, for a screening at the annual Italian Film Festival.

The film, My Shadow Is Your Shadow (Eugenio Capuccio) – a rollicking and thought-provoking road movie was well received by all who attended. Also well received were the luxurious navy blue veloured seats and the delicious range of choc-tops, which were enthusiastically devoured by our residents.

A big shout out to the staff at The Balwyn Cinema, who went above and beyond the call of duty, to make this a memorable experience for all concerned.
