Letter to Residents
Last week we received letters from students to our residents.
The purpose of these letters from students is to uplift the residents and to let them know that there are people in the community thinking of them, as we travel through lockdown and COVID.
The students are studying Italian and have attempted to engage with the residents at a cultural level and to bring together commonality between the older and the younger generations. It is also an exercise aimed at distracting residents from daily life and engage them to think, reminisce and revisit life stories.
Manuela will be distributing letters to residents, explain the concept to residents and then she and I will be work together with residents to write a response, if they wish.
All residents will be provided with a letter and all residents will be invited to respond.
