Minister Visits Assisi

Lily D’Ambrosio, prior to the State election in November, took time out from her busy schedule as minister for Energy, Environment & Climate Change, to concentrate for a moment on the Italian community.

Ms D’Ambrosio visited Assisi, together with Anthony Carbines, Member for Ivanhoe, to announce that a re-elected Labor State Government will allocate $625,000 to Assisi Aged Care for the redevelopment of Laveter House, situated within the gardens of the Centre, to a day respite centre.

The Minister stated that this financial commitment will guarantee that members of the Italian community will receive care and provide peace of mind for their families.

Similarly, Anthony Carbines stated that we can never thank our grandparents enough for their contribution, however, we can ensure that they have the quality of care, assistance and compassion they deserve.
