St Claire residents experienced the pasta making skills of fellow residents, Rosamaria Mammoliti and Maria De Felicibus. each bringing their own uniqueness to the process.
Tina ensured that the activity remained controlled and interactive, while residents reminisced about their days of pasta making.
This was a team effort with Maria guiding us with the ingredients, from the back stalls…more salt…more salt…more flour….more salt, while Rosamaria demonstrated her proficiency in kneading the dough. The results were a very satisfying yield of spaghetti and tagliatelle.
As this was purely an activity for the residents to enjoy and not carried out under strict food handling practices, none of the pasta was consumed by the residents.
