A component of our Strategic Planning was to promote the Assisi Centre and create awareness of our brand and service offerings. Part of this strategy was to acknowledge the greatwork that staff and volunteers undertake in caring for the residents at the AssisiCentre well as recognise the achievements which go Above and Beyond.
To the this end, the Assisi Centre introduced Staff Reward and Recognition and Volunteer Recognition functions as a means to showcase examples of our best practice and as a springboard into making submissions to State and National peak body awards.

I am very, very proud of the fact that our very first submissions to the ACSA Awards under the Employee and Volunteer categories have both made it to the Finalists stage.

Please join me in congratulating Debra Hanley (Employee) and Rosetta Anzanello (Volunteer) on reaching this stage and wishing them the very best on Awards night.

This is great recognition of the Assisi Centre and the wonderful people who work and volunteer here.
